Matching Purse

I haven't updated in a while, but I have been busy with a couple things. Today I'll show you the cute little birthday present I made. The pants are the design that will be sold on Sew Happy Baby, but not this fabric design. I paired it with a little short-sleeved top, one of my "Hair Blossom" bows and I made a one-of-a-kind matching purse.

Here is a close-up of the little purse. This is the second one I've made (made one for Annalia). Each time, I learn what I should have done differently. Eventually I will get it right :)

I added a little flower on this one, here is a close-up of that.

I know that getting clothes for your birthday isn't much fun until you're older so we put a princess cell phone, "lip-stick" and cosmetic mirror inside the purse. Annalia LOVES to carry her little purse, I hope Grace will too.

Fancy Pants

Well, I've been working hard on getting these cute pants finished. I also had to narrow down all the wonderful fabric choices to just six. Soon they will be up and running on Sew Happy Baby. Here is a picture of the 6 choices and the name of each pant.

Mo Manning meet Tim Holtz

First, let me say a HUGE thank you to Jen Suits for telling me about digi stamps at Mo Manning, I LOVE her images and want one of all of them.

Here is my first completed Mo Manning image, I'm calling "Mo Love"

I used Peerless watercolor paints to paint the image, I ink-distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink-vintage. I used the Tim Holtz paper destresser on his adage ticket "love" and inked it with more vintage ink. I used Martha Stewart's score board to accordion fold some Basic Grey paper.
